NOAA Weather Radio Transmitters for Wilimington, Ohio

NOAA Weather Radio Transmitters

The Wilmington National Weather Service office handles the broadcast responsibilities for nine NOAA Weather Radio Transmitters. Each of the radios has its own dedicated suite of broadcast weather information, including forecasts, observations, watches, and warnings. These consoles use the latest digital technology to broadcast the most reliable weather information. As conditions warrant, meteorologists at the Wilmington National Weather Service office can interrupt the broadcast cycle to immediately broadcast severe weather watches and warnings.
